About Jabari Exum

 Jabari “X-Factor” Exum is a percussionist, vocalist, educator, playwright, and cultural artist from Washington, DC whose work bridges rhythm, storytelling, and movement.

Rooted in West African and Latin traditions, Jabari blends live percussion, Hip-Hop music, theater, and education into dynamic performances and workshops that inspire audiences of all ages.

A multidisciplinary artist and educator, he has collaborated with acclaimed performers, musicians, and cultural leaders while continuing to build innovative programs centered around rhythm, creativity, and community engagement.
